Mahamed Jean-Moïse Kaboré
Born and raised in Burkina Faso, Mahamed Jean-Moïse Kaboré is a mission-driven professional who transitioned from the U.S. Air Force to the financial sector. He holds an MBA in Strategic Management from St. John’s University and currently serves as a Financial Institutions Specialist at the FDIC, where he evaluates banks to identify risks, ensure compliance, and strengthen internal controls.
With a background in operations, project management, and financial risk assessment, Mahamed brings disciplined leadership and a global perspective to his work. His experience in both military and financial systems fuels his commitment to driving impactful, systemic change.
Deeply rooted in his heritage, Mahamed co-founded Diaspora Impact Group to help unite Burkinabè professionals abroad and build a platform for collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and investment—ensuring the diaspora plays an active role in shaping the future of Burkina Faso.
Namketa Edith Savadogo
Namketa is a strategic communicator, podcast host, and community builder with a passion for purpose-driven storytelling and diaspora empowerment. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Media and an MBA, and brings over a decade of experience across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors in both the U.S. and Africa.
Her mission is to shift narratives, amplify underrepresented voices, and create spaces where ambition meets impact.
A proud Burkinabè based in New York, she is deeply committed to bridging the gap between the diaspora and the continent. Through Diaspora Impact Group, she leads on communications and partnerships, working to connect talent, capital, and ideas that drive sustainable development in Burkina Faso.
Joel Zombre
With over a decade of experience in operations and project management, Joel Zombre thrives on driving efficiency, optimizing processes, and delivering results. A former U.S. Navy Supply Corps Officer, he now leads large-scale operations as a Senior Operations Manager at Amazon.
Joel holds an MBA in Global Business Management from American Military University and is certified in Six Sigma Black Belt and Project Management (PMP). He is known for his strategic mindset, analytical approach, and ability to turn complex challenges into actionable solutions.
Currently based in Atlanta, GA, Joel maintains strong ties to West Africa and brings a global perspective to his work. Fluent in English, French, and Moore, he thrives in diverse, fast-paced environments where innovation and collaboration drive success.
Through DIG, Joel is dedicated to connecting minds and changing lives—building bridges across communities, fostering innovation, and empowering others to achieve their full potential.
Izzeddine Compaoré
Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Izzeddine Compaore is a dedicated Burkinabe professional with a decade of experience in the information technology industry, specializing in database administration. His career has been driven by a passion for using technology as a catalyst for innovation, growth, and opportunity.
In addition to his professional work, Izzeddine Compaore has proudly served as the President of the Association of Burkinabe in Georgia for the past year, where he has worked to foster unity, cultural pride, and mutual support among Burkinabe nationals living in the state.
As a founding member of the Diaspora Impact Group (DIG), Izzeddine Compaore is passionate about creating sustainable initiatives that empower the Burkinabe diaspora to contribute meaningfully to the socio-economic development of Burkina Faso. Through DIG, he envisions a vibrant network of professionals collaborating globally to uplift their communities, strengthen ties to their homeland, and build a legacy of impact for future generations.
